Bag filters are designed to purify water, process fluids and other non-viscous substances from suspended particles and mechanical impurities. These filters are based on the principle of surface filtration through bags, which allows to purify large volumes of liquid with minimal pressure loss. Replaceable elements made of polyester, polypropylene and nylon provide a degree of filtration from 1 to 1200 microns. They are widely used for the purification of cold and hot water, juices, syrups, beverages, petroleum products, oils and solvents.
Filter bags are the main element of bag filtration systems, being directly responsible for the removal of unwanted solid particles from liquid media. Their efficiency, material quality and correct selection determine the final result of the filtration process.
IGS micron bag filters are made of imported high-quality non-woven filter materials. We offer a wide range of filter bags designed for various industries and requirements for filtrate purity:
Variety of materials:
Our range includes bags made of various synthetic and natural materials, such as:
Wide range of pore sizes:
We offer bags with different nominal and absolute filtration fineness – from coarse cleaning to removal of submicron particles. This allows you to choose the optimal level of filtration for specific tasks. Bag filters for liquid filtration are manufactured with different filtration levels:
Filter bags for wet filtration are available in three standard sizes:
Polypropylene filter bags — are an excellent option for industrial liquid filtration. The main material — polypropylene, which has chemical resistance, high temperature resistance and high strength. Such bags are widely used in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food industries, as well as in the production of beverages, paints and inks.
Working principle:
Polypropylene — is a lightweight and water-resistant polymer with a density of 0.90 - 0.91 g/cm. Due to its resistance to most chemicals and minimal water absorption (0.01%), this material is suitable for filtering liquids. Polypropylene fibers are treated with needle punching, which increases their ability to retain contaminants. Larger particles are retained on the surface of the material, and smaller ones — inside the filter.
The right choice of filter The bag is the key to the efficient operation of the entire filtration system. Our qualified specialists will help you choose the optimal type and size of the bag, taking into account the characteristics of the liquid, the type of contaminants and the required degree of purification.
